    Can there be a more luxurious way to spend a beautiful autumn afternoon than curled up in the sunshine on the front porch with a good book? I can't think of one... unless perhaps it's being there with cup of tea and a good book as a soft rain patters against the windows. There's a new book in the basket on the porch right now, just waiting for such a day. I'm looking forward to it fondly.

    All right. I admit it. I love books and reading is one of my passions. My guess would be, most writers feel the same. I also admit to reading the same books again and again. And to searching out works by the authors who appeal to me, then squirreling them away to savor as my moods dictate. Some days call for romance, some days call for mystery.

   Lately, I've discovered the wealth of literature available online, and while gazing at my monitor will never replace the good solid comfort I derive from curling up with a book, I'm enthralled by the idea of a library at my fingertips. To that end, this month I'll share a few of my favorites with you. Enjoy

We liked this set so much, we decided to print the Menu for our family dinner on Parchment using a special Headline. I thought you might enjoy it, too.

Also, I tried the border (below) as a background in a table. It's not too bad.....
